Our Story

Kongka Furniture was founded in 1978, initially specializing in mother-of-pearl inlaid clocks in Yaowarat. Recognizing the competitive market, the founder,
Mr. Sawang Lertkachonsuk, emphasized beautiful design and high-quality materials to make Kongka products stand out. This focus has been a core value since the beginning.

1978

Kongka's evolution led us to the realm of Chinese pearl-inlaid furniture, a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality and elegance. We harness the beauty and durability of Rosewood and the natural pearls from various sources, meticulously inlaid by our highly skilled artisans.

Our craftsmanship includes traditional Chinese woodworking techniques like mortise, tenon joinery, and Shengqi (Chinese lacquer) finishing. In 1980, we collaborated with renowned artists, including National Artist Professor Ho Amarit Chusuwan, to enhance our designs.
Despite our growth, we prioritize the "joy and freedom" in our work environment, allowing our artisans to work creatively without constraints. This philosophy ensures that each piece of furniture is crafted with care and pride, reflecting our heritage and values.

1980

Over the span of four decades, Kongka has not only grown but also evolved. We have crafted over 200 furniture designs, harnessing modern technology to transcend past design limitations. Our journey continues as we blend contemporary styles with the timeless artistry of China
